Some material handling systems require automatic dumping of the containers being conveyed. Lauyans EPS has created dumpers that do this automatically by capturing the containers and tipping or inverting them to allow the product to dump into a secondary vessel in a controlled manner. Conveyance of containers into/out of the dumper is typically accomplished by powered roller or multi-strand chain conveyor. Powered rotation is usually driven by pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders.
