Pallets are used in many manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution facilities. They can be made of wood, metal or plastic and come in a wide array of sizes. There can be issues with pallets. The bottom boards can be missing, broken or nails can protrude. This makes them difficult to convey. A pallet conveyor system can be required to handle pallets of different sizes or different materials. A pallet may need to go from one type of conveyor to another. Say from chain driven live roller (CDLR) conveyor to chain conveyor. We have a way to handle this.

A system board can be inserted under the pallet. It is a specialized component that facilitates the movement and handling of pallets within a custom conveyor system by providing a reliable surface. It provides stable movement of the pallets. The same size of system board can be used under multiple sizes and types of pallets on the same conveyor system. A system board makes the material handling process more efficient.

A system board is a foundation. It is a rigid surface on which the pallets rest so they move smoothly. Unlike some pallets, a system board has a smooth surface that is free of protrusions. It can be made of durable materials such as wood, aluminum, steel or composite materials and withstand continuous use. It can support loads up to several thousand pounds. A system board is modular and easily inserted into the system, with the proper equipment, removed and returned to be reused within the pallet conveyor system.

The systems allow a system board to be removed from a stack, placed on the conveyor surface and to be inserted under the pallet. Once the process is completed and the pallet is removed, the system boards can be stacked and returned to the distribution point for reuse.
